The exhibition The Moved Stone will be opened next Wednesday 20 June at 5:00 pm at the Centre for Visual Arts - IPT Gallery.
It is based on the outcomes of a study of megalithic monuments in Central Portugal and the fact that they are among mankind’s earliest manifestations of the sort.  Based on three different points of view: romantic landscape, archaeological and scientific artefact and the fact that most of those monuments are graves, the Author proposes a new critical look at those structures in the form of “Photographic Sculptures”, thus questioning its contemporary meaning.  
This project forms part of a PhD thesis held at National Art University (Bucharest) and was developed during the Erasmus internship at the Instituto Terra e Memória  (Mação) and the IPT.
This exhibition will run until 1 September.
