Understanding and using techniques and concepts commonly used in electrical circuits analysis, DC and AC. Ability to analyze 1st and 2nd order circuits in time domain. Ability to analyze linear circuits in the frequency domain.

Quantities and fundamental components of electrical circuits. Kirchhoff's laws. Systematic methods for the analysis of circuits. Capacitors and inductors. 1st and 2nd order circuits analysis. AC circuits analysis. Frequency response.

Evaluation Methodology
Tests taken during the semester or final exam.
In order to pass the module, students must meet one of the following:
1) the arithmetic average of the test scores is equal or higher than 9.5 out of 20;
2) the mark of the final exam is equal or higher than 9.5 out of 20.
